1. Messenger Opt-In For Events 📅
If you’re using Facebook ads for events, this is a very intriguing new update that allows guests to confirm their attendance and provide details directly through Messenger. Considering a whopping 1.3 billion people use Messenger on a monthly basis globally, this is definitely a guaranteed way to help maximise event attendance!
2. Search Results Placement 🔎
After a lot of speculation and testing since late last year, it looks like Facebook is finally going to start using its platform’s search engine as an ad placement. This means that relevant ads will be shown to people based on what they search – very interesting!
3. DM Your Prospects 💌
Facebook appears to be testing a function that allows you to DM (direct message) people who leave comments on your ads. This is ideal for comments that require an in-depth response and also acts as a great way to start a proper conversation with a potential client or customer. Win!
