1. Share events to WhatsApp! Facebook recently announced that it’s planning to integrate its three instant messaging apps (Messenger, WhatsApp and Insagram DMs), but it looks like they’re also aiming to integrate more than just that. Some users have spotted a ‘share to Whatsapp’ option when sharing Facebook events, which is indicating that Facebook may be planning on adding WhatsApp to the advertising platforms available on Ads Manager.
2. Facebook is to release a ‘clear history’ tool for users sometime this year. While this is likely to have some impact on the effectiveness of targeting, it’s a very positive step for boosting the trust and relationship between Facebook and its users.
3. Advanced combinations are being tested in the Ad Set level of Ads Manager. Simply put, this gives advertisers the ability to include and exclude users using more intricate combinations of users’ various connections to Pages, events and apps.
