A new way to schedule appointments through Facebook?

Fantastic news for anyone in the lead generation game: Facebook is officially rolling out its own dedicated appointment scheduler!

Facebook has been testing this feature for a while, but now the ability to request and manage appointments entirely within Instagram and Facebook is finally getting a global release. With this new tool, service-based businesses on Facebook and Instagram can now accept and manage appointments, customer information and send appointment reminders — all through the app.⁣

When users click on the ‘book now’ button, they’ll be able to select the date, time and services they want before requesting the appointment. The process will then move to Messenger, where it connects the user with the business and the two parties are able to address any queries before confirming the appointment. Once accepted, you’ll be able to add the appointment to your Facebook events, or to whichever third-party calendar you use.⁣

Not only is this super handy, but it’s also a great way to start building a relationship with your customers through Messenger – we can’t wait to test it out! 🕺🏻
